State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report of harassment Dec. 26 on Empire Road in Morris Township. During a domestic, a juvenile allegedly shoved her mother. Charges were handled within the department.
- State police reported a DUI crash occurred Dec. 17 on Curtin Street in Osceola Borough. According to state police, a hit-and-run occurred and after troopers collected information on-scene, a 29-year-old Philipsburg man was located at his residence in the immediate area along with his vehicle. He was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol; charges are currently pending.
- State police received a report of harassment Jan 26 on Main Street in Ramey Borough. As a result of a verbal domestic, a Ramey couple was cited for harassment.
- State police received a report of harassment via phone calls Jan. 20 on Old Erie Pike in Boggs Township. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- State police received a report of retail theft Dec. 28 at Sheetz in Decatur Township. During the incident, a known female allegedly stole a candy bar, then fled the scene.
- State police received a report of criminal mischief Jan. 25 on Crooked Sewer Road in Decatur Township. During the incident, someone allegedly smashed the windshield and windows of a truck parked along the shoulder of the roadway. - State police received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle Jan. 1-2 on Old Highway 322 in Decatur Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a purse, then fled the area. - State police received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle Dec. 20 on Walton Street in Chester Hill Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a wallet from the victim’s vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report of theft of services Nov. 5 from Cooper Township. During the incident, someone allegedly disposed of eight tires in a township recycling container.
- State police received a report of criminal trespass Dec. 19 on Doc Coleman Road in Penn Township. During the incident, an Altoona man was allegedly staying at a camper that didn’t belong to him. Charges were filed through the district court.
- State police reported an incident of resisting arrest Dec. 21 in the area of North Street and Walltown Road in Grampian Borough. During the incident, an Altoona man allegedly attempted to flee from police on foot. He was apprehended and transported to county jail.
- State police received a report of identity theft Jan. 11 on Sanborn Street in Decatur Township. During the incident, someone allegedly used the victim’s personal information to open an unemployment claim. The unemployment office was notified and any payments were ceased.
