State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report of an assault Sept. 27 in the area of Main Street and Goss Aly in Bradford Township. During a physical altercation, a 59-year-old Woodland man allegedly struck the victim with a closed fist in the right ear approximately five or six times, causing apparent redness, swelling and dried blood to form behind her ear. The victim was treated for injuries at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital. Charges were filed through the district court.
- State police reported a DUI occurred Sept. 3 in the area of Fourth and Lynn streets in Bigler Township. In commission of the crime, a 49-year-old Madera man was allegedly found to be operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Charges are currently pending.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report of criminal mischief that occurred Oct. 1-2 on Laurel Run Road in Huston Township. During the incident, someone allegedly did “donuts” on an all-terrain vehicle in a mowed field.
- State police received a report of harassment Sept. 30 on Watson Highway in Sandy Township. During a domestic, a DuBois couple was involved in a verbal altercation that allegedly turned physical. Charges are currently pending against both individuals.
State police at Rockview
- State police received a report of harassment Sept. 30 on South Centre Street in Rush Township. During the incident, a juvenile female allegedly sent a threatening message to her ex-boyfriend via Facebook Messenger. She was cited through the district court.
- State police received a report of theft that occurred Sept. 6 on East Spruce Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly stole the victim’s cat, which is gray and black in color. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- State police received a report of a theft that occurred between June 1 and Sept. 6 on North Sixth Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a black and blue-colored Apple iPad, as well as cash from the victim’s home. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a report of an individual who was experiencing a mental health crisis. Upon arrival, it was found they’d fled the scene; they were subsequently located and transported to the hospital.
- Police conducted a traffic stop on the Curwensville-Grampian Highway. The driver was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and transported to the hospital for a blood draw. Charges are currently pending.
