William L. Miller, 78 of Philipsburg, passed away on Nov. 7, 2010 at Clearfield Hospital.
Born April 1, 1932, he was the son of the late Crist and Ruth (Hettrick) Miller.
He was a member of the First Evangelical Luthean Church in Philipsburg, a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association and Centre County Bar Association, he was a practicing attorney in Philipsburg for 30 years, he was a 1950 graduate of Philipsburg High School, a 1954 graduate of Dickinson College, and a 1958 graduate of Dickinson Law School.
On Nov. 3, 1963 in Philipsburg, he married the former Mary Jane Mostyn, who survives at home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Barbara VanBlargen and an infant brother.
He is survived by his wife and nephew Mark VanBlargen of Hershey.
Services will be held on Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Philipsburg with the Rev. Gerald Krum officiating. Burial will be at Philipsburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Nov. 9 from 7-9 p.m. at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg, and from 10-11 a.m. at the church on Wednesday.
