Police responded to the Super 8 motel for a report of a woman looking in vehicles. Upon arrival they located a 24 year old female who was under the influence of a controlled substance. She was transported to Penn Highlands for evaluation. Charges are pending toxicology reports.
Police responded to a disturbance at Lawrence Park Village. Upon arrival it was discovered that Douglas Herndon, 50, of Clearfield forced his way into an apartment belonging to his ex-girlfriend. He then ran upstairs and kicked a large hole in her bedroom door because he believed her boyfriend was in there. Herndon then fled the scene. Charges have been filed.
Police responded to the Clearfield County Jail for the report of an assault on staff. Upon arrival it was discovered that while being escorted back to her a 37 year old inmate spit in the face of a female corrections officer. Charges are pending.

State police are investigating an incident of theft on the Morrisdale-Allport Hwy. The victim reported that she observed a person in a light blue Tracker take her mail and packages from her mailbox. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Clearfield.
State police are investigating a theft in Pike Twp. The victim reported that $3,300 was withdrawn from his bank account via stolen check. The investigation continues.
State police investigated the report of a theft at the Dollar General in Irvona Borough. An 18 year old female from Coalport and a 15 year old male from Irvona were charged with trespassing and retail theft.
State police responded to crash on I-80 at mile marker 116 in Lawrence Twp. The driver of a 2001 Peterbilt lost control due to icy road conditions and struck the rear end of a 2018 Peterbilt. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
State police responded to a single vehicle accident on SR 322 in Boggs Twp. The operator of a 2004 Dodge was traveling west when he lost control of the vehicle, traveled right of the roadway and traveled 100 yards before rolling over and landing back on all four wheels in the travel lane. The vehicle sustained damage but was functional. The driver was transported to Penn Highlands for suspected minor injuries.
State police responded to an accident on SR 53. The driver of a 2015 GMC said a cat ran out in front of the vehicle and applied her brakes to avoid striking the cat when the driver of a 2002 Toyota was unable to stop and impacted with the rear of the GMC. No injuries were reported.
