CLEARFIELD – Police are investigating a motor vehicle/pedestrian accident that occurred in Clearfield Borough on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Clearfield Borough Police Department, the accident happened around 5:25 p.m. at the intersection of East Market Street and South Front Street. A car operated by a Clearfield woman was making a left turn from East Marekt Street onto South Front Street. The driver did not see a pedestrian utilizing the crosswalk. The vehicle struck the pedestrian, who then struck the car’s windshield.
The pedestrian was taken to Clearfield Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
The police officers were were assisted by members of the Clearfield Fire Police.
