CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Elks Lodge No. 540 distributed 100 Christmas dinner bags on Saturday.
Each bag contained a ham and the ingredients to prepare a complete Christmas dinner for a family of five, Christmas cookies and a $10 gift card to a local grocery store.
The dinner bags were funded through money raised locally by Clearfield Elks members as well as a Spotlight grant from the Elks National Foundation.
The Elks National Foundation granted $3.7 million nationally in Spotlight grants to help with COVID-19 relief to families affected by the pandemic.
