Pennsylvania mobilized five 20-person crews to other states this year, making it another busy year for the Pennsylvania’s Wildland Program.
In addition to the five crews, Pennsylvania also deployed 78 single resource personnel, four Type 6 engines and one squad (group of five).
Individuals from the Elk State Forest were in the following states: California, Colorado, Oregon and Wyoming.
The Elk State Forest dispatched three employees and another trained person. Some of these individuals made multiple trips.
