Police received a call regarding a vehicle crash in the area of McGeorge Rd. and Tyler Rd. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the male driver who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield for a legal blood draw. Charges are pending lab results.
Police were called to Daisy Street Ext. for an unconscious person behind the wheel of a car on the roadway. Upon arrival, it was determined that the individual had been consuming alcohol prior to operating the vehicle. The individual was taken to Penn Highlands Clearfield for legal blood draw. Charges are pending lab results.
While on routine patrol, officers located a suspicious vehicle on McGeorge Rd. with it’s lights off. Upon making contact with the operator, Ronald Wisor Jr., 44, of Clearfield it was found that he had a suspended driver’s license for a previous DUI offense. A search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Wisor admitted that he was at the location with the intent of smoking the marijuana, but was interrupted by police before he could. Charges have been filed.
Clearfield Borough
Police responded to a parking complaint along Bigler Ave. The vehicle was found to be disabled and was removed later in the day.
Police responded to a trespassing complaint along Daisy St. Police found that that the actor never entered the building, only walked by on the sidewalk.
Police responded to South Park for an alarm that was activated at a residence. Police found that the new owners had accidently tripped the alarm.
Police initiated a traffic stop along Gulich Ave. for a traffic violation and found the driver to be operating under the influence of Marijuana and Methamphetamine. The male was found to have active warrants, a suspended license and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges are pending.
Police responded to W. Locust St for a male who had entered a basement and removed items. Police were able to handle the situation on scene.
Police responded to Turnpike Ave. for a neighbor dispute over property lines.
Police were called to Merrill St for a report of lights being seen in a vacant building. Police arrived and found the building to be secure and the lights to be from an adjacent camera system.
A cell phone was recovered along Martin St. The owner was contacted about the phone.
Police assisted a motorist who had locked their keys inside their vehicle along E. 8th St.
A portable charging device was turned over to police after it was located along the River Walk. The owner may claim it by calling 814-765-7819.
PSP Clearfield
State police are investigating the theft of a 2006 Yellow Honda LTD from a residence on Horseshoe Curve Rd. in Decatur Twp. between October 28 and November 4. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Clearfield.
State police are investigating an incident where unknown person(s) drilled a hole in a vehicle’s gas tank on Pheasant Drv. In Morris Twp. in order to steal gasoline. Police report this is the second reported case in the area. The investigation continues.
State police responded to a domestic incident on Laura St. in Chester Hill Borough. Upon arrival it was determined that one individual had an active domestic relations warrant. That person was taken into custody and transported to the Clearfield County Jail. Charges have been filed against both parties in the incident.
State police arrested a 48 year old Olanta male for simple assault following an incident on the Bloomington-Glen Richey Hwy. The defendant fired a pistol in the vicinity of the victim during an argument.
State police responded to a domestic on Heverly Blvd. in Beccaria Twp. A 37 year old Coalport male threw coffee in the face of a female victim and proceeded to shove, strike and kick her. Charges have been filed.
State police are investigating a theft from the Irvona Fire Company. Unknown person(s) entered the building and removed approximately $400 worth of equipment. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Clearfield.
