Police received a report of criminal mischief at Lawrence Park Village. Upon investigation is was found a male, Michael Schaeffer, 53, of Clearfield was upset over his girlfriend leaving him for another male. In retaliation the actor threw oil, paint and broke the apartment windows out of the new boyfriends residence. The accused also spray painted the bridge on Park Ave. Ext. with vulgar wording about his ex-girlfriends. The accused was located on foot and taken into custody. He was housed in the Clearfield County Jail and charged with vandalism.
Police were dispatch to a local restaurant for the report of a disturbance. On scene, it was learned that a male threatened another male stating that he would “be back with his 45.” The accused then struck a difference male with his vehicle when leaving the parking area. As a result of the threat, the restaurant closed early. The accused was arrested for terroristic threats and other related charges.
Police were called to the Economy Inn for a report of a break-in. Upon arrival police identified Anthony English, 40, of Woodland and discovered that he had picked the lock of a room and made entry. It was also discovered that he had an active warrant with the Sheriff’s Department. When attempting to take Enclish into custody he faked a medical emergency and was taken to Penn Highlands Clearfield to be medically cleared. He was then transported and housed in the Clearfield County Jail. Charges have been filed for burglary, trespassing and other related offenses.

Police were notified by a local school bus company that a vehicle had traveled passed a school bus while it was unloading children. Police are investigating the incident.
Police responded to a report of a disoriented male walking on the side of Gulich Ave.. Police arrived in the area and assisted the male with getting in contact with his family.
Police responded to a noise complaint at an E. Cherry St. residence. Police made contact with the resident who agreed to be quiet.
Police were dispatched to a minor “fender bender” vehicle accident on E Market St. Police arrived and located the driver involved. The driver was observed to be intoxicated. Police are investigating the incident.
Police were dispatched to a suspicious person exiting a vacant house on Daisy St.. Police arrived in the area but were unable to locate the individual involved.
Lawrence Township Police requested this department’s assistance with locating a male who was observed to throw an item at a residence with the intent to damage the property. Police arrived in the area located the male on Reed St where he was taken into custody.
