DUBOIS – Sandy Township and DuBois City have both received some drafted chapters of their joint consolidation study.
On Monday night, Township Manager Shawn Arbaugh reported both municipalities have the draft chapters regarding finances, police/public works contracts, etc., wit the full draft to be provided by the end of October.
In other business, the supervisors announced the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) will hold a renewal hearing regarding the township’s noise ordinance at 11 a.m. Oct. 14.
Finally, Supervisor Kevin Salandra noted that the township’s proposed ATV/UTV ordinance remains on hold due to COVID-19 precautions.
