Police responded to a report of an unconscious male in the Sheetz parking lot on SR 879. Upon arrival, officer found Joshua Shaw, 33, of Curwensville passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle. It was discovered that he was under the influence of a controlled substance and transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield for a legal blood draw to which he refused. Charges have been filed.
Police received a report of an assault. The victim stated that they were struck by a known male and required stitches as a result of the incident. The investigation continues.
