CLEARFIELD – Trick-or-Treat night will follow the parade this year on Oct. 28 in Clearfield Borough.
Clearfield Borough Council announced the date and time, 6:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. The Clearfield Borough Police and Fire Police are working on plans to have the two forces jointly patrol Clearfield trick-or-treat night to help combat vandalism.
“It’s a hit or miss effect. Some nights it’s very quiet, and some you can’t have enough help,” said Clearfield Borough Police Chief Jeff Rhone.
The Wednesday night date for trick-or-treating was picked because Lawrence Township and Clearfield Borough attempt to schedule the same date. Saturday was rejected because of the already heightened activity and Friday could potentially be a football game night.
