Police responded to E. Locust where police located a male that held several active warrants. The male was taken into custody and placed in the Clearfield County Jail on the warrants.
Police responded to S. 5th St for a minor vehicle accident. Police found that a vehicle had struck another vehicles side mirror. They were able to exchange information on scene and no further action was needed by police.
Police responded to S. 2nd St where a vehicle had backed into another vehicle while in the center turning lane. There was minor damage to both vehicles and both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
Police responded to Clearfield St for a report of a reckless driver. Police report that a resident was driving erratically and spinning his tires in a reckless manner.
Police responded to a complaint along Cemetery Rd involving a neighbor dispute.
Police responded to Nichols St for a report of an altercation taking place between a male and female. Police arrived and were unable to locate anyone in the area.
Police assisted a resident along Woodland Rd with removing a bat from the residence.
Police responded to a trespassing complaint along S. 4th St. Police found that a male wanted a female removed from the residence. It was found that the female has been staying there. Police advised the male of his options of evicting the female.
Police were called to S. 2nd St for a report of a male that had removed a bicycle from a back porch. Police located the male and the stolen bike shortly after the report was taken. The male was found to be intoxicated and was transported to the jail. Charges are pending.
Police were called to a parking lot off of Turnpike Ave for a vehicle that was doing “burnouts.” Police arrived and found several markings indicating that on the pavement. Police also located the vehicle and found the male to be intoxicated. The male was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
Police responded to Bigler Ave for a report of juveniles harassing a female. Police responded but were unable to locate anyone.
Police responded to W. Market St for a report of loud music. Police responded and advised the individual of the complaint.
Police responded to Foster St for a report of theft of services. It was reported that a dumpster was being used without permission.
A driver’s license was returned to the owner after it was located along the sidewalk.
Police responded to Pennsylvania Ave for a parking complaint. Police located the owner who was able to move the vehicle.
PSP Clearfield
State police responded to a single vehicle crash on Naulton Rd. in Pike Twp. Upon arrival the driver showed signs of impairment. He consented to field sobriety testing and a chemical breath test and was released to a known adult under rule 519. Charges have been filed.
State police are investigating an incident of theft at the Kwik Fill Truck Stop in Cooper Twp. A 2010 Kenworth drove off without paying for 70 gallons of diesel fuel valued at $186.13. The investigation continues.
Police responded to a domestic dispute on Surveyor Rd. Girard Twp. A 33 year old male from Philipsburg and a 51 year old female have been cited through District Court.
State police responded to a DUI crash on Rolling Stone Rd., Cooper Twp. Prior to arrival the operator of a 2012 Harley Davidson had fled the scene into a wooded area. The operator was found a short time later and determined to be DUI. Charges have been filed.
State police responded to an incident of burglary on Old Turnpike Rd., Morris Twp. Unknown actor(s) removed a small file safe valued at $80 from a residence. The investigation continues.
State police responded to a vehicle crash on Rockton Mountain Hwy. The driver of GMC Savana was traveling east when the left rear tire of the vehicle, crossing the median then striking a F250 Supercab. The Savana sustained disabling damaged was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Curwensville Borough
Police report a backpack was found in the area of Meadow and Filbert St. The owner may claim the backpack at the police station.
