HARRISBURG – While there are just over 350 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Pennsylvania, there are no new cases in Clearfield County.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health has confirmed that as of 12 a.m., there are 351 new coronavirus cases, bringing the statewide total to 75,943. The death toll is now 5,953.
According to data on the department’s Web site, Clearfield County has 44 total cases while 1,264 patients have tested negative for the virus.
All people are either in isolation at home or being treated at the hospital, state health officials say. County-specific information and a statewide map are available here.
“With more than half of the state now in the green phase of the process to reopen, it is essential that we continue to take precautions to protect against COVID-19,” Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine said.
“Each of us has a responsibility to protect ourselves, our loved ones and others by wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing and washing our hands frequently. Together we can protect our most vulnerable Pennsylvanians, our essential workers and our healthcare system.”
DOH data shows there are 451,387 patients who have tested negative state-wide to date. Of the patients who have tested positive, the age breakdown is as follows:

State health officials say that most of the hospitalized patients are aged 65 or older, and most of the deaths have occurred in patients 65 or older. More Pennsylvania COVID-19 information is available here.
DOH data shows that in nursing and personal care homes, there are 16,167 resident cases of COVID-19 and 2,807 cases among employees for a total of 18,974 at 615 distinct facilities in 45 counties.
Out of the total deaths, state health officials say that 4,094 have occurred in residents from nursing or personal care facilities. A county breakdown can be found here.
It was also noted that approximately 5,742 of Pennsylvania’s total cases are in health care workers.
