Lawrence TownshipÂ
- Police responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch with the air bags deployed along Log Cabin Rd. The male driver was transported from the scene by Clearfield EMS and then Life Flighted to UPMC Altoona for treatment of injuries. It was determined that the male was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Charges are pending.
- Police responded to a report of a physical domestic altercation at the BP Gas Station. Upon arrival it was discovered that Mark Hackett, 32, of Woodland entered the female victim’s car and began striking her. Hackett then exited the car and proceeded to punch the victim’s window causing it to break before leaving the scene. The victim refused to cooperate with police and left the scene as well. Disorderly conduct charges were filed against Hackett.
- Police responded to a report of a female actively fighting with a male at the Kwik Fill gas station. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the female, Kristy L. Barnosky, age 40, was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. She was taken to the Clearfield County Jailed. Charges are pending.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a call about a male sleeping on a picnic table at Irvin Park. Upon arrival the male was found to be in possession of several containers of alcohol. Charges are pending.
- Police responded to a call at the Dollar General for a reported retail theft. A female removed a toothbrush and toothpaste and went into the restroom to conceal the items before leaving the store. The investigation continues.
- Police responded to the area of State St. and River St. for a report of a male attempting to gain entry into vehicle in the intersection. The male was located but the victims did not wish to prosecute the individual.
- Police were contacted about a custody case where the child had not been returned as per the custody agreement. The incident was handled by police.
