State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred Jan. 14 on Laurel Run Road in Pike Township. During the incident, a 38-year-old Woodland man allegedly entered a Clearfield man’s car and removed the keys. The investigation is ongoing at this time; charges are expected to be filed through the district court.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a disturbance Tuesday in the area of Turnpike Avenue and Flegal Road. According to police, information was received about a female who was covered in snow while walking in the middle of the roadway and screaming as loudly as possible. Witnesses were also directing traffic to prevent her from being struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival on-scene, police were able to identify the female, as she was wanted in connection to another incident earlier in the evening. She was reportedly “heavily intoxicated,” and taken to the hospital for an evaluation and treatment for hypothermia. Charges for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct are expected to be filed through the district court.
