Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

Police reported found property at 5:55 p.m. Friday at the Clearfield Bank & Trust, Co. in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. Troopers found a purse in the parking lot. The owner may claim the purse by contacting the Philipsburg State Police at 814-342-3370.
Police reported an incident of public drunkenness at 10:15 p.m. Friday at the American Legion in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 33-year-old Philipsburg man was allegedly being a nuisance to patrons. At police arrival, the accused was found at the side of the American Legion. He appeared to be lying on the ground and hiding. He allegedly smelled of a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Charges have been filed through the district court.
