State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Sunday on Sykesville School Road in Winslow Township. During the incident, a 36-year-old Reynoldsville woman allegedly punched a male in the face following a verbal altercation. He wasn’t injured and the woman will be cited through the district court.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of trespass that occurred Oct. 1 on Rorabaugh Road in Burnside Township. During the incident, a 51-year-old Mahaffey man allegedly trespassed on private property after being notified he was not permitted to be there. Charges will be filed through the district court.
Clearfield Borough
- Police conducted a traffic stop and reportedly determined that the driver was intoxicated. DUI charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report about a suspicious person on South Third Street. Upon arrival, police were unable to locate anyone.
- Police are investigating an alleged incident of harassment that occurred along Leavy Avenue.
- Police assisted with the service of a mental health warrant on a male along East Cherry Street. He was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted along River Road where a tractor-trailer became lodged under the railroad bridge.
- Police responded to a reported traffic complaint on Spruce Street. Upon arrival, police were unable to locate the described vehicle.
- Police received a report about a fight that allegedly involved three to four people on South Third Street. Upon arrival on-scene, police found the aggressor fled on foot; the investigation is ongoing at this time.
- Police received a report about an altercation on East Locust Street. Upon arrival, it was found a couple had been engaged in a verbal altercation, and police were able to handle the situation on-scene.
- Police searched the East Pine Street area after a resident reported that someone was on their swing in their backyard. However, police were unable to locate anyone.
- Police handled a trespassing complaint along Daisy Street.
- Police responded to an activated alarm along North Fourth Street. Upon arrival, it was found that it’d been set off accidentally by an employee.
- Police received a report about a custody issue on North Second Street. Upon arrival, police were able to resolve the situation on-scene.
- Police served warrants on a female after she was located along Spring Street. She subsequently satisfied the warrants, police said.
- Police received a report about a female who knocked on doors while wrapped in a blanket on South Fourth Street. Police searched the area but were unable to locate anyone.
- Police reportedly located drug paraphernalia on a female along East Pine Street.
- Police arrested a Clearfield resident because he was reportedly observed taking items from a local business and leaving without paying for them.
Lawrence Township
- Police responded to a reported hit-and-run Sunday in the parking lot of the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet at the Clearfield Mall. According to police, a motorist struck a Dodge Durango and then fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- Police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness Sunday at the Super 8 Hotel in Clearfield. According to police, a 40-year-old Bradford woman had been drinking, was separated from her friends and began acting disorderly. She reportedly was inside a vehicle and laid on its horn for an extended period to try to wake up her friends inside the hotel. She was found sleeping when police arrived on-scene, and she was taken into custody. She was housed in county jail and cited for the incident.
