HYDE — The Clearfield Bison junior varsity football team closed out its 2019 season with an 18-7 home loss to the visiting Ridgway Elkers Monday night at the Bison Sports Complex.
After a scoreless first quarter, Jose Alban got the Bison on the board with a 4-yard touchdown run, while Matt Bush added the extra point for a 7-0 lead.

The defensive tussle remained 7-6 until the Elkers scored two short touchdowns in the fourth quarter, the final one with under a minute to play, to defeat the hosts 18-7.
