GETTYSBURG – Clearfield Boy Scouts from Troop 9 recently visited Gettysburg and completed their Historic Trails Program.
Their visit covered the Billy Yank 10.5-mile trail; Gettysburg Museum and National Cemetery; downtown’s 5.3-mile historic trial; the Eisenhower farm; and the 4-mile Johnny Reb trail.
During the trip, scouts learned about what the Union and Confederate armies endured during the Battle of Gettysburg. Â They also hiked 28 miles to complete the Historic Trail program.
