CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) recently welcomed Labor & Industry Deputy Secretary for Workforce Development, Eileen Cipriani, to tour the CCCTC and see the CCCTC students in action.
Cipriani also had the opportunity to see the Philipsburg-Osceola fifth-grade students doing their hands-on tour.
Cipriani has been visiting CTCs across the state to talk about the importance of career and technical education, continuing adult education, apprenticeships and pre-apprenticeship programs and the governor’s focus on helping Pennsylvanians get the skills needed for 21st century jobs.
She highlighted Gov. Tom Wolf’s proposed Statewide Workforce, Education, and Accountability Program (SWEAP). The bold workforce development plan invests in Pennsylvanians from birth to retirement, and includes expanding job skills training for students and adults.
