State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred Wednesday on Elderberry Lane in Decatur Township. During the incident, someone allegedly used a hidden key to enter an Osceola Mills residence, and once inside, they removed approximately $4,800; approximately 13-14, 1800 double eagle silver dollars; and an almost full bottle of change. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a theft that occurred Tuesday at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School. During the incident, a female allegedly stole a cellular phone and had a male hide it. Police and school officials were able to recover the phone, however; charges will be filed in the incident.
- Police received a report about an assault that occurred Tuesday at the CAJSHS. During the incident, two 14-year-old females were allegedly involved in a fight. Both were arrested as a result of their actions.
Sandy Township
- Police received a report about a domestic dispute Tuesday on Maple Avenue. According to police, a 35-year-old woman and her live-in boyfriend engaged in an argument that turned physical. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- Police received a report about a theft Tuesday at the Friendly Tavern. During the incident, an unknown male allegedly stole a can of beer from the six-pack shop. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a phone scam Tuesday. According to police, a 53-year-old Platt Road woman received a call from an unknown male accusing her of laundering money. He also claimed that there were warrants for her arrest, and he could only help if she provided her social security number, which she did. Afterward, she realized it was a scam.
- Police received a report about a disturbance Tuesday at a South Main Street residence. During the incident, a 53-year-old man was allegedly smashing things and calling a woman names. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- Police were contacted Wednesday by a Clear Run Road resident who reported his mailbox had been smashed by an unknown person.
- Police were contacted Thursday by a 55-year-old Treasure Lake man who had parked his truck in the Wal-Mart parking lot in January. When he returned, it was gone. Upon investigation, it was found Wal-Mart had it towed because it was believed to be abandoned.
