CLEARFIELD — Lock Haven University students enrolled in the physician assistant program will host a celebrity waiter night from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday, April 8 at the Dutch Pantry restaurant, 14680 Clearfield Shawville Hwy., Clearfield.
The event will benefit the Lacy Magagnotti Physician Assistant Memorial Scholarship.
Magagnotti was a local alumna of the LHU physician assistant program at the Clearfield campus, who lost her battle with cancer in 2015.
The students will serve meals to restaurant patrons as well as run a Chinese auction. All money raised, including tips and 10 percent of the dinner profits, will benefit the scholarship fund.
Local businesses are encouraged to donate directly to the scholarship fund or donate a gift certificate or themed basket to the Chinese auction. Auction donations should be made by Monday, April 1 to Paulina Paw at pap3416@lockhaven.edu.
Checks can be made payable to “LHU Foundation” with “Lacy Magagnotti Physician Assistant Memorial Scholarship” written in the memo section. The names of those business who donate will be displayed at the event.
