Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

Police reported an incident of retail theft at 4:45 p.m. Monday at the Dollar General Store in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 64-year-old Philipsburg man allegedly entered the store and filled a basket with $22.15 worth of items. He allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying. He was located at his residence and taken to the Centre County Prison.
Police reported an incident of criminal mischief at 6 p.m. Saturday on East Spruce Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. Ten to 15 watermelons and pumpkins were allegedly smashed by known individuals. The investigation is ongoing.
