SANDY TOWNSHIP – The annual Sandy Township Fire Department Fund Drive is currently underway.
According to a department press release, Sandy Township businesses and residents will receive letters which request for a donation.
“This is the department’s major fund drive to raise money for the five township companies,” the press release states, noting that those companies are: Adrian, West Sandy, Sabula, Oklahoma and Treasure Lake.
“This drive is important due to the increase in costs and equipment for the fire department.”
Donations in any amount will be accepted. Anyone with questions about the drive is asked to contact Chief Bob Wilson at 590-5369.
