State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred sometime Wednesday or Thursday at an Elizabeth Street residence in Houtzdale. During the incident, someone allegedly gained access to the victims’ residence and removed money. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief/trespass that occurred Thursday in the area of Hillcrest and Presqueisle streets in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, Gary L. Quick, 39, allegedly caused damage to the victim’s car. State police say he later caused damage to a second victim’s fence. Charges were filed through the district court.
- State police reported on a drug-related DUI that occurred Feb. 21 on North Front Street in Philipsburg Borough. According to state police, Daniel Decker, 29, of Philipsburg was observed stopped in his vehicle along the roadway; he was slumped over onto his steering wheel. He was subsequently administered field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment. He was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine, glass smoking pipes and related drug paraphernalia. State police say he was determined to be under the influence of a combination of drugs. Charges have been filed against Decker through the district court.
State police at Ridgway
- State police reported on an incident of DUI that occurred Wednesday in the area of Montmorenci Road and Evergreen Drive in Ridgway Township. A 27-year-old Ridgway man drove his vehicle off the roadway and was allegedly determined to be under the influence of alcohol.
