Obituary Notice: Robert L. Weible

Robert L. Weible, age 64 of First Street in DuBois, PA died Sept. 20, 2010 at his residence.

He was born on Nov. 14, 1945 in Falls Creek, PA.  He was the son of the late Louis C. and Mary (Myers) Weible. 

He was a veteran in the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam War. 

He married Nancy J. (Horner) Weible on Aug. 24, 1974.  She survives. 

He worked at Sensus Metering (formerly Rockwell International Manufacturing) in DuBois for 30 years.  

He was a life member of the J.E. DuBois Hose Co. #3.  He was very active in the DuBois Little League for many years serving in many capacities from coach to president of the Little League Board of Directors. 

He is survived by two sons, Shawn R. Weible and his wife Nicole of Sun Prairie, WI and Jason R. Weible and his wife, Shauna of DuBois, PA, four sisters Esther Fye and her husband, Thomas of Falls Creek, PA, Ella Lindemuth and her husband, Bill of Hazen, PA, Mary Thompson and her husband, Bryant of Nebraska, and Mabel Bish of Mayport, PA, two brothers, Kermit Weible and his wife, Gloria of Rex, GA, and Chuck Weible and his wife, Faye of South Carolina, and three grandchildren, Mariah Evans, Damon Olson, and Mason Weible.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Frances Rousan and two brothers, Louis Weible and William Weible.

Visitation will be held on Sept. 23 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.

A military ritual will be conducted by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard on Sept. 24 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home. 

A funeral service will be held on Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Zilhaver officiating.

Full military honors will be accorded from the funeral home.
