State police at Philipsburg
- On Monday state police responded to a report about a verbal argument that turned physical on Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough. Also, during the incident, a 21-year-old man allegedly broke an 18-year-old woman’s cell phone. She was cited for harassment and underage drinking through the district court. He was cited for harassment and criminal mischief.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about a firearms violation that occurred Friday on South Pickering Street in Brookville Borough. During the incident, a male was allegedly in unlawful possession of a .22 revolver pistol. Also, the traffic stop revealed that a minor was in possession of alcohol. Charges are pending at this time.
- State police received a report about an assault that occurred April 5 on Ramseytown Road in Knox Township. During the incident, a 19-year-old Brookville man allegedly subjected the victims to unwanted physical contact. Charges were filed through the district court.
- State police reported on a DUI that occurred Saturday on West Mahoning Street in Punxsutawney Borough. A vehicle driven by a 25-year-old Punxsutawney man was stopped after he committed summary traffic offenses. He was allegedly found to be under the influence, and charges are currently pending at this time.
- State police received a report about a theft that occurred March 30 at a Route 28 residence in Rose Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole prescription medication from the victim. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
