Gloria Ann Nixon, 78, of Curwensville died Monday, March 26, 2018 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
Born Dec. 24, 1939 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Francis “Tuffy” Larson and Margaret (Durany) Larson Zemba.
Mrs. Nixon was a homemaker and a member of the St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville.
She was loved by all who knew her. She loved sitting on her porch in the summer and talking to friends and family. Her grandsons were her pride and joy and she will be greatly missed by them.
On Dec. 24, 1980 in the state of Georgia, she wed William D. Nixon, who survives, along with a son, Joseph Zemba and daughter-in-law, Doris of Curwensville.
Also surviving are two grandsons, Brian and Jacob Zemba of Curwensville and a brother, Lyle Larson and sister-in-law, Patricia of Curwensville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a step-father, Joseph Zemba; a son, Kevin Trulik; a sister, Nancy Dallen; and a nephew, Michael Larson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville, with Deacon Mr. Anthony Indelicato officiating.
Friends will be received from12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
