CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield area juvenile suffered a serious leg injury, when his bicycle struck an oncoming vehicle on North Second Street Thursday afternoon, the Clearfield Borough Police Department reported. Further, police indicated that the juvenile was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for medical treatment.
According to the report, police responded to the 200 block of North Second Street at approximately 3:22 p.m. Thursday. The juvenile crossed the roadway in front of a stopped vehicle.
However, police said the juvenile failed to see a second vehicle, which was approaching in the right lane. As a result, the juvenile collided with the driver-side door of the vehicle. Both vehicles then came to a stop.
