Doris K. Sierzega, age 74, of Patterson Ave. in DuBois, PA died Sept. 16, 2010 at her residence.
She was born on April 27, 1936 in DuBois, PA. She was the daughter of the late Clifford T. and Serie (Fagerstrom) Kruger.Â
She was a 1954 graduate of Sandy High School.
On June 23, 1956, she married Richard W. Sierzega. He preceded her in death in 1969.
She retired in 1993 from the Bell Telephone Company in DuBois after 34 years of service.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in DuBois. She was a member of the Telecom Pioneer of America.
She is survived by one son, Richard S. Sierzega and his wife, Karen of DuBois, PA, a brother, Clifford Kruger of Ellwood City, PA, and one grandson, John Cruce of Butler, PA.Â
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A Telecom Pioneer of America service will be held Sept. 18 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home.
Visitation will be held on Sept. 18 from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant.Â
Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
