BROOKVILLE — The Curwensville Lady Tide upped their record to 3-0 after sweeping Brookville on Tuesday night by the scores of 25-10, 25-9, and 25-13.
Head coach Sandy Bailor said afterwards, “After Monday’s marathon match it was nice to see the girls come out tonight and win the match in three games. It again was a whole team effort, we have a big challenge ahead of us on Thursday against Punxsutawney, but I believe the girls are up to the challenge.”
The Lady Tide were led by Audrey Thomas’ 13 assists and 16 service points; Madison Peterman’s 10 assists and nine service points; Ricki Wells’ 16 digs, seven service points with four aces; Rachel Michaels’ nine kills and five blocks; Taylor Thornhill’s 13 kills, seven blocks, and 13 service points with eight aces; and Hannah Bressler’s 15 digs.
As mentioned, the Lady Tide (3-0) will be back in action when they travel to Punxsutawney on Thursday evening.
