Thomas E. “Tom” Taylor Sr., 73, of Grampian died Monday, Feb. 19, 2018 at his residence.
Born April 11, 1944 in Curwensville, he was the son of Charles F. and Mary (Rider) Taylor.
Mr. Taylor was an electrician who worked through and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in DuBois.
Surviving are two children Thomas E. Taylor Jr. and his wife, Deanna and Tammy D. Taylor and her significant other, Michael Beam, both of Spring Grove, Pa.; four grandchildren, Ryan Taylor and his wife, Ashley, Courtney Taylor, Chase Taylor and Kirstyn Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Bentley Taylor; and three brothers, Jack Taylor and his wife, Virginia, Charles “Chuck” Taylor and his wife, Carol and William “Bill” Taylor and his wife, Carol, all of Curwensville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ruth Taylor Patterson and Nancy Taylor Irwin.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, 403 Patterson Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
