Kenneth G. Woods, 81, of Morrisdale died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.
Born May 29, 1936 in Rush Township, he was a son of the late George Earl and Irene Mae (Flegal) Woods.
He was a 1954 graduate of the Morris Township High School. He retired from Howe’s Leather, Curwensville, after 35 years.
He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Philipsburg.
On Sept. 16, 1966 in Frostburg, Md., he married Darlene Kaye (Marien) Woods, who died Jan. 7, 2009.
He is survived by a son, Brent L. Woods and his wife, Lisa of Morrisdale and three daughters, Cindy Woods of Hamilton, Ind., Sherry Hess and her husband, Scott of Allport and Marilou Embick of Morrisdale.
He is survived by nine grandchildren Raymond and Charles Woods, Maureen, Logan and Emily Embick, Melisa Seger, Justine Husted and Kayleann and Brandon Woods and seven great-grandchildren.
He was the last of his generation and was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a sister, Mary Lou Coutriet.
Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
