Dorothy E. ‘Dot’ Pritchard, 91, of Clearfield died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born Sept. 9, 1926, a daughter of the late Albert Knepp and Mariam (Stiner) Read.
Mrs. Pritchard was employed by the former McGregor’s Sportswear for 23 Years.
She is survived by two children, Marlene Smith and her husband, Jim of Killeen, Texas and Jack E. Pritchard and his wife, Bonnie of Curwensville; seven grandchildren, James Smith Jr. and his wife, Bobbi, Brian Godissart, Brenda Wall and her husband, Karl, Julie Mitchell and her husband, Andrew, David Smith, Jill Wagner and her husband, Ken and Jason Pritchard; a granddaughter-in-law, Tricia Pritchard; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. ‘Jack’ Pritchard on July 1, 2003.
She was also preceded in death by her grandparents who had raised her, James and Sarah Stiner; a daughter, Sandra L. Godissart; a grandson, John Pritchard Jr.; and the following siblings, Clara, Elizabeth, Laura, Fay, Pearl, Anna, Martha, Madeline, Leslie, Jesse, Vivian, Hershall, Ralph, Don and Kenneth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with the Rev. M. Bruce Dimmick officiating. Burial will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
