Someone removed a Husky 22-ton hydraulic log splitter from along Ridge Avenue in Pike Township. The item is estimated at $1,200.
Members of the state police, Troop C, Morris-Cooper Regional, Sandy Township, and DuBois City Police Departments conducted a checkpoint strikeforce initiative over the holiday. One DUI arrest was made, 10 traffic arrests were made and 10 warning were issued.

Someone removed a Rival microwave oven from the Harbor Inn in Philipsburg. The item is valued at $150.
On Sept. 6 at 11:49 a.m. an unknown female entered Minit Mart in Coalport and demanded money from the clerk with what appeared to be a firearm. The clerk gave her the money and the woman fled on foot. She is described as being about 5 feet, 3 inches tall, with a large build and being between 20 and 40 years-old. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
