Dorothy A. “Dot” Anderson, 100, of Mahaffey died Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
She was born Dec. 22, 1917 in Clearfield, the daughter of the late Orvis and Mary (Fray) Boal.
She was a life-long member of the Mahaffey United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her two children, Harold J. Anderson of Mahaffey and Elaine Anderson of Greensburg; a sister, Joyce Edgren of Clearfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. “Babe” Anderson; a sister, Emily Lynn; and a brother, Delbert Boal.
At the wishes of the family, all services are private. Burial will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Clearfield.
