– Police reported an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between 4 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Sept. 1 at a Hemlock Avenue residence in Jay Township, Elk County. A person(s) entered the residence and reportedly removed several items. They then fled the scene. – Police reported an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between 10 a.m. Aug. 15 and 11 a.m. Saturday at a camp, which is located off of Spring Run Road in Jay Township, Elk County. A person(s) allegedly forced entry into a seasonal residence by kicking in the door and damaging the wooden door jam. Once inside, they allegedly removed an Atari video game system before fleeing the scene. The value of the damaged and stolen property was estimated to be $700, police said.
