State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred between Dec. 17 and Tuesday on Lingle Street in Osceola Mills Borough. During the incident, someone entered the victim’s shed by breaking the door from its hinges. Once inside, they allegedly stole a 2010 Honda 250 CRF RA dirt bike and fled the area. State police say the dirt bike had red fenders and white side panels; it also had a heavy duty lock on the back sprocket. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a trespassing complaint from a resident along Short Street.
- Police handled a parking complaint along Walther Avenue.
- Police responded to an activated alarm along North Second Street. Upon arrival, police located an employee who had set the alarm off accidentally.
- Police arrested a female for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after she was stopped for a traffic violation along South Third Street.
- A female was arrested for public intoxication after she was seen walking while allegedly highly intoxicated along Bigler Avenue.
- Police assisted the Pennsylvania State Constable with serving several warrants on a male along Spruce Street. The male was taken to the Clearfield County Jail on the warrants.
- Police arrested a male for driving under the influence after he was determined to allegedly be intoxicated after committing several traffic violations along East Market Street.
- Police initiated a vehicle stop along East Market Street and discovered the passenger had an arrest warrant through the Lawrence Township Police Department. Township officers responded and handled the warrant.
- Police responded to a report about a vehicle being struck by another one on East Locust Street. The caller told police that the driver fled the scene.
- Police responded for a reported child who was “out of control” and striking family members at a Daisy Street address. Upon arrival, police assisted with getting the child to calm down.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with taking a male into custody on an outstanding mental health warrant.
- Police responded to an address where dogs were reportedly outside barking on East Fifth Street. Police were able to contact the owner who put the dogs inside.
