Sandy Township
- On Wednesday employees from Snappy’s Convenience Store reported a man who had been sitting at the gas pumps for at least an hour. Upon arrival, officers located the 32-year-old man and handled the situation without incident.
- On Wednesday a 46-year-old DuBois woman alleged that someone made an unauthorized purchase on her credit card at Wal-Mart. Police are continuing their investigation.
- On Wednesday a 43-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported that she and her 61-year-old boyfriend had engaged in an argument, and he would not let her leave the house. When they arrived at the scene, he told police that they had gotten into a verbal dispute, and he would not let her leave because she had been drinking and was concerned for her safety. The situation was handled by police without incident.
- On Thursday Wal-Mart employees turned over a counterfeit $100 bill that was used by an unknown individual to make a purchase.
- On Thursday a Treasure Lake resident alleged that while he was hunting along Fort d France Road, someone got into his truck and took a cross bow case, two arrows and four broad heads. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- On Thursday a 59-year-old township resident reported a known Pittsburgh man was e-mailing a mutual friend and saying unusual things about him.
