State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an alleged rape that occurred in Snyder Township, Jefferson County. It remains under investigation at this time.
- State police reported on a DUI/drug incident that occurred Oct. 10 on Smith Road about a quarter-mile east of Oklahoma Salem Road in Brady Township, Clearfield County. According to state police, a 27-year-old man was stopped for traffic violations. He was allegedly found to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are pending approval from the county’s District Attorney’s Office.
- State police received a report about an alleged statutory sexual assault that occurred in Brady Township, Clearfield County. However, it was listed as unfounded by state police.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred Oct. 6 on Carson Hill Road in Brady Township, Clearfield County. During the incident, someone allegedly entered a blue Jeep Liberty parked at a residence and then removed a checkbook containing checks and three U.S. stamps, a roll of quarters and five CDs. - State police reported a DUI/drug incident that occurred Saturday on North Fifth Street in Reynoldsville Borough, Jefferson County. According to state police, a vehicle operated by a 27-year-old DuBois man was stopped for a summary traffic violation. While speaking with him, state police allegedly detected an odor of alcohol and burnt marijuana. He was arrested for driving under the influence, and charges are pending blood test results. Also, a 30-year-old DuBois man allegedly had drug paraphernalia in plain view on his lap; he was the front-seat passenger of the vehicle. Charges are to be filed against him through the district court.
- State police received a ChildLine report about an incident of harassment that occurred Oct. 2 on a Brockway Area school bus in Brockway Borough, Jefferson County. During the incident, a 10-year-old boy allegedly subjected the victim, an 8-year-old boy, to unwanted physical contact. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about animal cruelty that occurred Sept. 16-17 on Beechtree Road in Falls Creek. During the incident, a 22-year-old man allegedly threw scalding water on his girlfriend’s dog. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Friday on Laurel Run Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County. During the incident, two people engaged in a verbal altercation that turned physical when a male allegedly pushed and struck a female. Charges will be filed through the district court.
- State police reported on a drug-related incident that occurred Friday on Rock Street in Falls Creek Borough, Jefferson County. According to state police, an unknown male was sitting on the back porch of the caller’s residence. A “pat-down” search allegedly yielded a socket wrench bit with burnt marijuana residue inside it. State police also determined the male, identified as John F. Haskins, 32, was wanted by state probation/parole, and there was a warrant for his arrest due to a prior incident. Haskins was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail to await court proceedings through the magistrate’s office.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime between June 8 and Oct. 5 on the Philipsburg-Bigler Highway in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a 350-gallon vat that was used to store grease. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred Thursday or Friday at an M.S. Lane residence in Ringgold Township, Jefferson County. During the incident, someone allegedly gained entry to the victim’s detached garage and punctured all four tires on his vehicle.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between Oct. 9 and Friday on Route 322 in Pinecreek Township, Jefferson County. During the incident, someone allegedly gained entry into the victim’s residence and removed four long guns. State police at Ridgway
- State police reported an incident of DUI that occurred Saturday at the intersection of Routes 948 and 255 in Fox Township, Elk County. According to state police, a 31-year-old Elk County woman was stopped for numerous traffic violations and arrested for suspected DUI.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Friday on Route 219 in Brockport. During the incident, two Brockport females argued over items being removed from the residence. State police say one female shoved the other and also struck her in the face.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to a parking complaint along Nichols Street.
- Police received a report regarding alleged harassment occurring at an apartment along South Second Street.
- Police arrested a male on outstanding warrants after he was located along South Second Street. He was lodged in the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police received a report about a staggering male in the area of Bigler Avenue and East Eighth Street. Police located the male and determined that he was not intoxicated.
- Police responded to a report about a disabled vehicle on East Pine Street. Police were able to assist as a towing service was responding to the scene.
- Police checked a residence along East 10th Street after receiving a call about a possible broken window. Upon arrival, police were unable to locate any damage to the residence.
- Police responded to an activated alarm along Power Avenue. Police located delivery people at the scene.
- Police responded to the area of Spruce Street, where a male appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Upon arrival, police searched the area and were unable to locate the male.
- Police handled an incident of harassment along Merrill Street.
- Police responded to a reported trespassing incident at an address along South Second Street. However, the male left prior to police arrival at the scene.
- Police received a report about a disturbance on Daisy Street. Upon arrival, police found that a verbal altercation had occurred between a male and female. Police say the male left prior to their arrival at the scene.
- Police assisted emergency personnel with an unresponsive female along North Second Street.
- Police reported that a remote-controlled car was damaged along Williams Street when someone intentionally ran it over.
- A male was arrested by police for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs after he was stopped for committing several traffic violations.
- Police received a report about a female who made statements of self-harm on Turnpike Avenue. Upon arrival, police spoke to the female who denied any thoughts of self-harm as well as making any statements.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about loitering and prowling that occurred in the Glen Richey area.
- Police received a report about an incident of receiving stolen property in the Mount Zion area. However, it was determined to be a civil matter.
- Police received a report about an incident of bad checks in the Hyde area.
- State police were assisted with a traffic stop on the Rockton Mountain Highway.
- Police responded to an activated alarm near the Clearfield Airport.
- Police received a report about a disorder near the Sapp Bros. Truck Stop. Police say a male was lodged in county jail with paraphernalia charges pending.
- Police received a report about a disorder in the East End area. Police say a male was lodged in county jail with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness charges pending.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle on Fullerton Street.
- Police received numerous noise complaints due to a fireworks display.
- Police received a report about an activated alarm near the Clearfield-Glen Richey Highway.
- Police conducted two traffic stops on the Clearfield-Curwensville Highway. DUI-related charges are pending against both drivers.

Morris-Cooper Regional
- Police received information about alleged drug activity in the Cooper Township area. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- A Grassflat resident reported a child custody dispute, which didn’t involve any court orders. Police advised them to contact their attorneys.
- Police received a report about an alleged fight on Lamb Drive in Morrisdale. Police say that both people were transported to the hospital for injuries. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police arrested Erik Scott Klingler of Hawk Run for an alleged protection from abuse order violation. Police transported him to the Clearfield County Jail.
- A Grassflat resident contacted police to return stolen property from a theft incident that was being handled by Clearfield-based state police.
- A Philipsburg resident reported their 15-year-old son was “out of control” and possibly on some type of narcotic. Police advised the parents to take him to the hospital.
- Police responded to a report about a suspicious vehicle in Allport. Upon arrival, police observed the vehicle was placed for sale.
- A Philipsburg resident reported their “No Trespassing” signs were removed and burned.
- Police responded to a traffic violation for a possible DUI. However, the vehicle was gone upon police arrival.
