James H. Couturiaux, 76, of Philipsburg died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017 at his home.
Born Dec. 15, 1940 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Henry and Florence (Myers) Couturiaux.
He married Jean (Carson) Couturiaux on Jan. 27, 1962 in Philipsburg. She survives at home.
He was of the Christian faith and retired from PennDOT.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Bette Jo Miller of New Jersey and Barbara Crispell and her companion, Art Conklin and Brenda Myers and her husband, William, both of Osceola Mills, and one son, James T. Couturiaux and his wife, Debbie of Mill Hall.
He is also survived by one brother, Thomas Ellis and his wife, Margaret of Philipsburg; 11 grandchildren, James, Brenda, Misty, William R., Jenny, Jamie, William, David, James, Briana and Kiley; 16 great-grandchildren; and his best friend, Jake.
A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, with Pastor Janet Kephart officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
