CLEARFIELD — Sept. 15 and 16 are the dates for the 13th annual Bison Baseball Alumni Weekend at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park, and former Clearfield Area High School players still can sign up, according to head coach Sid Lansberry.
To obtain a registration form, visit www.clearfieldbaseball.com or call Lansberry at 762-4512, Donnie Shimmel at 553-6146 or Clearfield Baseball Association secretary/treasurer Jeff Kavelak at 765-5088.
A $50 donation is good for membership in the CBA as well as a hat, shirt, food and beverages for the social following batting practice at 5 p.m. at the LTRP Friday evening and a dinner for players and guests at the Clearfield VFW picnic grounds at approximately 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Alums unable to attend can join the Bison Baseball Alumni Association for $25.
All checks should be made payable to the Clearfield Baseball Association.
On game day, players are asked to report to the LTRP diamond for caps, shirts and team assignment at 10:30 so that pictures can be taken at 11.
A Home Run Derby at 11:15 will precede the nine-inning game that is slated for 12:05 p.m.
