SAN DIEGO — Clearfield elementary wrestler Brady Collins recently had the honor of wrestling for Team PA in San Diego, California at the Ultimate Summer Series at the Midway.
Competing for the 9u Team PA in the Battle on the Midway Duals, Collins won all of his matches as he helped lead the team to a third place finish behind the Cali Gold and Cali Black teams.
Preliminary rounds were held on the Broadway Pier, while the team and individual finals were held on the World War II aircraft carrier, the USS Midway, which since June of 2004 is now a museum.
Collins won the Intermediate 80 pound class in folkstyle with a two minute pin in the finals over Ladd Holman.
Collins went a perfect 10-0 on the California trip.
