Anna M. Kassab, 88, of Clearfield died Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Christ the King Manor of DuBois.
Mrs. Kassab was born July 6, 1929 in Munson, the daughter of John and Margaret (Sotock) Gregus.
She was a graduate of the St. Francis High School of Clearfield.
Mrs. Kassab had worked for the Clearfield Area School District in the cafeteria.
She was member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Clearfield. She was also a member of the Rosary and Altar Society.
Mrs. Kassab loved to bake cookies and spend time with her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Judith Mitchell and her husband, Alexander of Clearfield, Diane Wash and her husband, Richard of Suffolk, Va., and Sharon Schenker and her husband, Arthur of Mays Landing, NJ; six grandchildren, Jennifer Mitchell Skoko, Lisa Mitchell, Devon, Alexis and A.J. Schenker and Sydney Wash; a great-granddaughter, Juliana Skoko; a sister, Charlotte Sandri of Clearfield; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Josephine Wise; and her husband, G. Edward Kassab, who died June 15, 2001 and to whom she was married Oct. 25, 1952.
Honoring Mrs. Kassab’s wishes, there will not be any public visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Clearfield with Msgr. Henry Krebs as celebrant. Burial will be in Bradford Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Christ the King Memorial, 1100 W. Long Ave., DuBois, PA 15801 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 100 W. Station Square Dr., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 or the St. Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 230 S. Second St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
