David Lee Dobash, 66, of Calhoun, Ga., and formerly of Winburne, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at his home.
He was born March 7, 1951 in Philipsburg. He was the son of the late Andrew and Norma (Hartshorne) Dobash Sr.
He is survived by a son, Chad and his wife, Jessica of Calhoun, Ga.; a daughter, Charity Smith and her husband, Justin of Alabama; and four grandchildren, Ava, Cole, Melody and Madison.
Also surviving are his brother, Andrew Dobash Jr. and his wife, Bonnie of Grassflat and sisters, Beverly Hertlein and her husband, Lee of Frenchville, Carol Neidrick of Calhoun, Ga., and Norma King and her husband, Dan of Oneida, NY.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill.
He was a 1969 graduate of the West Branch High School. He was also a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He had worked at Piper Aircraft and Lockheed Martin. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoyed the outdoors.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Lanse Evangelical Free Church, Lanse, with the Rev. Matt Mitchell and the Rev. Dan King officiating.
Burial will be in the Winburne Hungarian Cemetery, Winburne.
