CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough Chief of Police, Jeff Rhone, said this year’s fair parade observers will have to wait to put out their chairs.
Unlike in years past where observers would set chairs out and tie them to parking meters, poles, and trees, this year they will have to wait until a few hours before the parade. Clearfield Borough president James Leitzinger said that tying chairs out poses a safety hazard.Rhone said the police have the authority to remove the chairs if they are tied out sooner. Observers have been warned for the past few years and this year they will take action to remove them.
