CLEARFIELD – Recently, members of the Keystone Babies class at Children’s Aid Society went on a “field trip” to Rebecca Park. At the park, the children had a picnic-style snack and then were able to run, play, and have many hands-on experiences with nature, including exploring a tree and its roots (pictured).
Keystone Babies is a program for infants and toddlers, birth to age three, and their families. The program focuses on building strong relationships and enhancing learning experiences. Keystone Babies teachers are highly qualified and follow the PA Early Learning Standards for Infants and Toddlers. The program offers opportunities for families to be involved in their child’s learning goals and encourages parents to spend time in and be part of the classroom experience. Parents are supported by staff through everyday interactions, meetings as needed and quarterly conferences. Keystone Babies staff will also assist parents in identifying and enrolling in preschool as the child nears age three. The Keystone Babies class runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with wrap-around care available. For more information, contact Tara Domanick at 765-2685 x208.
