CURWENSVILLE – Curwensville Borough Council member Sam Ettaro invited his colleagues to a public presentation at the Curwensville Area High School on Tuesday night concerning the PA Wilds Greenways Partnership.
The program should not be confused with the Pennsylvania Wilds initiative or the North Central PA Greenways plan.
“We have to state that this is citizens going forward,” said Ettaro.
Ettaro indicated that the PA Wilds Greenways Partnership is a separate initiative. He said that Tuesday night’s speaker will discuss how municipalities, organizations and citizens don’t need to wait for the state to take action on the other programs for them to start on their own greenways project.
“We have the resources,” said Ettaro. “The tools are set up. We can connect our towns through greenways.”
The meeting at the Curwensville Area High School will take place tonight at 7 p.m. in the school’s library. For those who cannot make the event in person, a free high-quality webTV video stream will be provided. Video from the live event will be available immediately on the Partnership’s Web site.
