State police at Philipsburg
- State police reported an incident of DUI that occurred April 21 on Interstate 99 in Worth Township. According to state police, there was a report of a two-vehicle crash, at which point a 47-year-old Port Matilda woman was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. She was transported to the Mount Nittany Medical Center for a blood-alcohol test. Charges are currently pending the outcome of the test, and the incident remains under investigation.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Saturday at a Cherry Street residence in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, two men allegedly engaged in a physical altercation over grass not being maintained in the yard. State police cited a 56-year-old Philipsburg man for the incident.
- State police received a report about an incident of retail theft that occurred Friday at Weis Market in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a known Philipsburg woman allegedly took several items from the store after bagging them without scanning at the self-checkout. State police cited the female for the incident.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of statutory sexual assault that occurred between March 1, 2016 and April 26 in Cherry Tree Borough. During the incident, a 42-year-old Cherry Tree man allegedly engaged in sexual acts with a 15-year-old girl. It remains under investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime Saturday or Sunday on Starr Road in Henderson Township. During the incident, someone allegedly smashed mailboxes and then fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Punxsutawney barracks at 814-938-0510.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred via text messaging. It was handled by police at the scene.
- Police are investigating an alleged incident of theft from a business along East Market Street.
- Police reported that a credit card was located and turned in. Its owner was contacted and the card was returned to them.
- Police arrested a male along East Market Street on a warrant for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order. He was transported to the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police arrested a female on several active warrants after she was observed walking along Bigler Avenue. She was taken into custody and to the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police assisted a motorist along West Locust Street who had locked their keys inside their vehicle.
- Police received several reports about vehicles being broken into and items being removed from yards in the East End area. Police would like to remind residents to keep their vehicles locked and secured at all times.
- Police were asked to check the welfare of a West Market Street resident. They were found to be OK.
- Police allegedly located drugs and drug paraphernalia in a vehicle along East Seventh Street. Police also arrested the driver for suspicion of DUI as well as two males on active warrants and probation violations.
- Police received a report about children being disorderly on NW Fourth Avenue. Upon arrival, police advised the children of the complaint.
- DuBois City police arrested a male who had an active warrant through the Clearfield Borough Police Department. He was turned over to Clearfield police who transported him to the jail on the warrant.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a four-vehicle accident at the Wal-Mart traffic light. No injuries were reported as a result; towing services also were not required, police said.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation on Washington Avenue.
- Police received a report about suspicious persons on Supercenter Drive.
- Police received a report about the alleged theft of a check card. It remains under investigation at this time.
- Police responded to a psychological emergency on Turnpike Avenue.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male at a hotel on Route 879. Upon arrival, police found the male who was having medical issues. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance for an evaluation.
- Police assisted people who were at a hotel on Route 879 with locating a lost relative.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft from a motor vehicle on Wrigley Street.
- Police received a report about suspicious activity in the area of Daisy Street Extension.
- Police received a report about the alleged theft of fuel from the Kwik Fill on South Second Street.
- Police assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout at the Clearfield Mall.
- Police received two noise complaints that occurred at the Lawrence Park Village Apartments.
- Police received a report about a lost dog in the area of Flegal and Morrison roads. It is a yellow lab named Frank. Anyone with information is asked to contact township police.

- Police received a report about an injured deer along the Clearfield-Curwensville Highway.

- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of the Krebs Highway and Clover Hill Road. No injuries were reported as a result, police said.
Morris-Cooper Regional
- Police received a report about a Snow Shoe resident who was allegedly intoxicated and driving with children in a vehicle. When police checked from Kylertown to the Centre County line, it was determined the vehicle was gone from the area. Police later found that the Pennsylvania State Police located the vehicle in Snow Township and handled the incident.
- A Morrisdale resident reported a driver who was in a red truck with a black fender pulled alongside their residence, put it in neutral and revved up the engine. Police said that this caused the elderly woman to be scared, and the investigation is continuing.
- A Morrisdale resident reported a trucking company had their trucks started and then left them running for more than an hour. Police made contact with the owner to advise them that the trucks shouldn’t be idling more than 15 minutes by law.
- Clearfield Borough police were assisted in locating two individuals who had their wallets taken from their vehicles.
- Police responded to the Mt View Plaza in Kylertown for a public service. Upon arrival, police unlocked a Frenchville resident’s vehicle in order for them to get their keys out.
- Police responded to Old Route 53 for a public service. Upon arrival, police unlocked a Kylertown resident’s vehicle after they had locked their keys inside it.
DuBois City
- Police were dispatched for a report about an intoxicated male yelling outside an apartment on East Park Avenue. A witness told police the male wouldn’t leave after being asked to. Police will cite the male for disorderly conduct.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a male on South Main Street. Upon arrival, police met with his roommate and found the male wasn’t there.
- Police received a report about a rabid raccoon that was under a Juniata Street resident’s porch. Upon arrival, police observed the raccoon but then it moved out of sight. Police advised the residents to stay away from it and to contact police immediately if they happened to see it again.
- Police received a report about a male who was shining a flashlight on buildings in the area of North Brady Street and West Long Avenue. Upon arrival, police were unable to locate anyone in the area.
- Police received a report about a person being on a resident’s porch in the 100 block of Evergreen Street. She told police a neighbor had noticed a person on her porch overnight. Police told her to call 911 right away if they should return.
- Police received a report about drug paraphernalia being located in a yard along the 200 block of West Scribner Avenue. Police responded and retrieved the drug paraphernalia.
- Police received a report about a verbal domestic dispute involving a mother and son in the 900 block of West Weber Avenue. When police responded, they found Mobile Crisis had also been dispatched to the residence. Crisis personnel determined everything was OK, and police cleared the scene.
- Police received a report about an activated alarm at a business in the 600 block of DuBois Street. Upon arrival, police determined it was a false alarm.
- Police received a report about a suspicious smell coming from a residence in the 500 block of Maple Avenue. Upon arrival, police were unable to detect any odor.
- Police received a report about a couple engaged in a verbal domestic dispute in the first block of Robinson Street. Upon arrival, police determined a DuBois male was under the influence of alcohol. He eventually decided to leave the residence for the remainder of the night.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a male in the 900 block of West Weber Avenue. According to police, a dispatcher advised the male was on the line with Crisis personnel and appeared to be very agitated. When police responded, the male had calmed down.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male outside yelling and screaming in the 400 block of West DuBois Avenue. When police arrived, the male appeared to be intoxicated and he was trying to find his ride. A person arrived and took custody of the male, police said.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run accident that occurred in a business parking lot on West DuBois Avenue. Upon arrival, police found the victim’s vehicle had sustained damage. Police collected information and their investigation is ongoing at this time.
- Police received a report about an unwanted male in the first block of East Long Avenue. When police made contact with him, he agreed to leave.
- Police received a report about a possible verbal domestic dispute in the first block of West Scribner Avenue. According to police, a female agreed to leave the apartment until things calmed down.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male who had been standing next to a utility pole for 30 minutes in the 100 block of Fairview Avenue. Police identified the male and determined he had an active warrant for his arrest through the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department. He was subsequently taken into custody and released to the sheriff’s department.
- Police received a report about a disturbance at a business in the 200 block of West Long Avenue. According to police, the dispatcher related the male was banging on the caller’s car. Upon arrival, police made contact with the Clearfield male who was wanted through the Clearfield Borough Police Department. He was subsequently taken into custody and released to borough police.
- Police were dispatched to assist ambulance personnel with a patient in cardiac arrest in the 200 block of South Main Street. When police arrived, they assisted as-needed.
- Police were dispatched to assist ambulance personnel with a combative female in the 200 block of Morrison Street. When police arrived, they assisted as-needed, and the female was taken to the emergency room.
- Police were dispatched to check the welfare of a female in the 300 block of South Jared Street. According to police, a dispatcher related the female was thought to be intoxicated. Upon arrival, police found she wasn’t intoxicated and that it was a custody issue.
